Help needed: Lenoir Community College – Office Assistant

An associate’s degree in business administration, human resources management or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Must have excellent public relations and organizational skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Work conditions

Typical office environment including the use of a telephone, computer, printer, copier, fax machine, and calculator

Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time with a moderate amount of standing, walking and typing

Regular communication with others in person and on the phone

Some lifting and carrying weights up to 20 pounds

Some trips with an occasional overnight stay may also be necessary

Some evening and / or weekend tasks may be required on or off campus
