The Philippine Culinary Cup (PCC), one of the country’s most anticipated and prestigious culinary competitions, was held recently at SM Megamall, Megatrade Hall. The PCC is the only culinary competition approved by the World Association of Chef Societies (WACS) in the Philippines that serves as an internationally recognized platform for Filipino chefs to hone their skills and showcase their culinary talents.
The culinary competition was made possible through the collaboration of the LTB Chefs Association Philippines, the Pastry Alliance of the Philippines and PEPTarsus Corp. The PCC holds the highest standards of culinary competition guidelines, allowing only accredited WACS judges for each category.
Competing with participants from various hotels, restaurants and culinary schools, the Sheraton Manila Bay triumphed in this year’s competition as Sous Chef Daryl Vance Yulo Sy took home the silver award in the “US Lamb” category. “and the bronze awards in the” US Beef “category.
