“Imppractical Jokers” star Joe Gatto announces his exit from the show after 10 years of association


A decade-long journey is finally over. Joe Gatto, one of the stars of Jokers not very practical, will no longer be part of the show.

The comedian made the announcement on Saturday. He said he “would no longer be involved” with Jokers impractical. He said he took the plunge following “personal issues” by also announcing that he was separating from his wife Bessy.

Joe, in his statement, said he devoted 10 years of his life to building the franchise and couldn’t be prouder of what they had accomplished as a team. However, he couldn’t go any further as he had to focus on being the “best dad and co-parent” to their “amazing kids”.

He wrote a statement for members of his group that his connection to Murr, Q and Sal was the “most important” in his life. He expressed his confidence that they would continue to make the world laugh. Joe also thanked the team who worked behind the scenes to make sure their work stood out and expressed his gratitude to them.

The 45-year-old also thanked the audience, for allowing him to make them all laugh. He hoped he could trigger their laughter, known as the “best medicine”, especially in “strange and difficult times”.

He added that amid the challenges he faced, he hoped to be excited to create “new ways” to entertain fans.

Inconvenient jokers stars react to Joe Gatto’s release

The rest of the group, James Murray, Brian Quinn and Sal Vulcano also shared a statement after Joe left and said they never imagined doing Inconvenient jokers without Joe. They said that although they were saddened, they promised to maintain the connection with the fans and to continue to make them laugh. They hoped to make the next chapter of Inconvenient jokers in January.

The comedians, who have known each other since 1990 had formed The Tenderloins in 1999. They subsequently gained popularity on YouTube, before becoming the TV sensation for Inconvenient jokers.

The show first aired on December 15, 2011 and has spanned nine seasons so far. The show was renewed for a 10th season in November.
