Gobookmart is dedicated to providing financial and literary resources to those in need

PATNA, BIHAR, INDIA, Feb. 6, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — On a beautiful day of confinement in June 2020, Shashi Shekhar and Mayank Shekhar from Patna had an ingenious idea: to create a startup (Gobookmart) to promote love books and literature in the world, just as they have in themselves. What started as an idea sprouted into a popular website, filled with quality content, visual aesthetics and the duo’s extensive experience with digital marketing. For over a year, we’ve been fortunate enough to help young readers on their literary journeys, without book reviews, blogs, author interviews, podcasts, and more. But is it enough?
Is it enough to only guide privileged readers with recommendations on the resources they already have access to? Or should we equip potential readers without resources, push them towards a literary odyssey that could well change their lives?
We believe in the latter. We don’t believe in creating idle content that helps those who are already equipped, but in actively participating in community service to make reading accessible and feasible for those who lack equipment. And that’s our motivation behind our new program, “Donate New Books for a Better Cause”. It’s not just a theoretical idea, it’s a practical program to make books accessible to underprivileged children who can’t get books themselves or don’t have the financial credit to invest in a habit that will end report a hundred times.
Under this program, we collect books donated by anyone in India and distribute them entirely to underprivileged children. If you wish to make a donation, our address is available on the site. In addition to this, you can also donate in monetary terms – an online portal is provided at the link below.
We also encourage you to make a monetary donation, as we have also opened a new public library in Patna, especially for children between 10 and 20 years old. Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., our private library offers an enormous volume of reading material, including novels, textbooks and resource materials for children and teenagers, to help cultivate the habit of reading books from the earliest young age. Not only does this give children a head start in university and academic life, but it also enriches them and launches them in the quest for knowledge for their personal development. However, for this high benefit, children have to pay a price of 500 per month. Although it may seem like a small amount, many children do not have the financial capacity to pay the money. Many children come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who don’t have the money to invest in what may seem like luxuries.
But it’s not a luxury. It is an investment and a necessity. And therefore, Gobookmart will remain dedicated to providing financial and literary resources to those who lack them, and to urge the people of India to help us achieve our goals as well.
