The competition, which runs from March 15and – April 15and, is part of the LPGA’s ongoing mission to engage, empower and support girls and women through the sport of golf. Based on all essays received, an appointed nominating committee will review all submissions, identify 13 finalists, and ultimately determine a winner. The 13 finalists will be announced on April 20and with the winner announced on April 30and. The 2022 Cognizant Founders Cup returns to northern New Jersey for a second straight year and will be played on one of the state’s top golf courses, while celebrating the legacy of the LPGA in an event that highlights featuring the best professional golfers in the world. Prestigious event honors 13 founding members of the LPGA, including surviving founders Marlene Bauer Hagge and Shirley Spork, and offers $3 million prize money, which is the largest of any LPGA Tour event outside of the majors and the CME Group Tour Championship. .
