Candidates for Worthington, Nobles County offices file for November election – Reuters

NOBLES COUNTY — Nominations for county and city offices closed Aug. 16, and Nobles County candidates threw their hats into the ring for positions ranging from mayor to city clerk. town.

Three ran for mayor of Worthington after current mayor Mike Kuhle announced he would not seek re-election. Chad Cummings, Rod Sankey and Rick D. von Holdt will all appear on the ballot in November.

Both Larry Janssen and Cristina Esther Adame will be vying for the Ward 1 City Council seat, and Alaina Kolpin will face challengers in the Ward 2 City Council race against Nathalie Tshioko Nkashama and America Voss.
