KSSCWD: vote for Flagor and Groth

I am writing to support the nominations of Robert “Bob” Flagor and Jon Groth. Both nominees currently serve on the Kootenai Shoshone Soil & Water Conservation District (KSSCWD) Board of Directors. It is imperative to retain these current board members as they have the depth, dedication and reliability that are required of a candidate. The experience of these two candidates is essential to the day-to-day operations as well as to the overall success of the District.

Bob Flagor has 21 years of experience as a director and currently as a member of the board of directors. He has the basic knowledge as well as the know-how of boots in the field. Jon Groth comes to us from Shoshone County and has the knowledge and voice of Silver Valley mining as well as a water and sewer background.

These candidates had developed irreplaceable relationships with other agencies and councils throughout Kootenai and Shoshone County, such as NRCS, ISWCC, ISDA, DEQ, IDL, Coeur d’Alene Tribe, Farm Bureau, Cattlemen’s Association and the Aquifer Council just to name a few.

Flagor and Groth not only have the history and knowledge of where we come from, but they know how to lead the district in future conservation efforts to help private landowners, users and the public promote conservation and the Voluntary, non-regulatory and locally directed stewardship. of the natural resources of our beautiful region.

Flagor and Groth both know where we’ve been and where we need to go in the future.
